Aliens and Jacob's Ladder: A Jewish Bedtime Story
"Daddy are aliens bad or good?"
"Well, let's see.."
"Hop into bed; It's time to get to sleep"
"Why is it time, daddy?"
"Because one cannot argue with the clock."
'The story of Jacob's ladder can be found in Genesis chapter 28 and reads;
"And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep.
And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.
And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed; And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of. "
"Now, children if you lived many years ago, say, in the 14th century, my bedtime story about this to my 14th century Jewish sleepy children, would relate the above scripture Bible story as follows:
"Jacob departed quickly, traveling all day
When evening came, he fell fast asleep under the stars, using a stone for a pillow.
During his sleep , he had a dream about a heavenly stairway that reached completely from Earth up to heaven.
God's angels traveled up and down the stairs, and God said, "I am the God of your fathers, and I I will give you and all of your children the land that you lay upon.
All Earth's peoples will be most blessed by you.
I, God, am with you, and will go with you.
And surely I will do all that I have promised."
Jacob suddenly woke up and said, " But surely God is in this place."
And then he made a solemn vow, a promise to God.
Then he picked up the stone that he had slept on and set it straight upright to recall that special place.'
"For you see, my sleepy child, as Jacob slept, God spoke to him in a dream.
There's no certain proof that Jacob had been really looking for God; God initiated or started his contact with Jacob."
'But that story is for then and this is now.'
'why, daddy?'
Faith is a personal unquestioned trust in God that you can get by going to synagogue, accepting what you are told from the pulpit, and of course, paying all of your dues. Any real doubts or simple questions are considered as a true lack of faith.'
"Because we are so much smarter, now, in the 21st century that we still believe in God and angels but we have a different more intelligent perspective of this beautiful story some 2000 years later."
"what, daddy?"
"Get under the covers tired and sleepy Jewish babies and I shall tell you more"
(shuffled blanket sounds and a yawn is heard)
'In the past all biblical accounts were taken at face value; people always believed without any question exactly what they heard from the Bible"
'Until very recently, Jacob's ladder was just another holy narrative from our most Holy Bible.'
'Rote doctrine religious dogma dictated that the Bible was God given and thus anything within it was absolutely beyond question.'
What's that mean, daddy?"
'After all, the story of Jacob's Ladder was within God's given Holy Scriptures.'
"Huh?"
'A story in our Jewish Bible was seen as more than just a story, it was seen as the living word of God.'
' huh?'
' Then, 21st century people began to think about these stories from the Bible in a totally different and more enlightened perspective.'
"What's pepective, dad?"
'It's another way of looking at things'
"Oh."
"let's go; under the covers!"
'Ufology and Exobiology shed new light on our Jewish Bible by putting it into the perspective of scientists who recorded UFO alien craft visitations from around the world and who recorded descriptions of the alien pilots who occupy these craft.'
"Huh?"
'Thus, this same story told perhaps as a bedtime story to a 21st century sleepy child, like you guys, I would relate the above scripture Bible story much more differently, as follows:
'Here's the same story, but to today's smarter sleepy Jewish babies':

'In the same way that modern alien contactees at first think that they dreamt their experiences, Jacob obviously did the same.'
"Unfortunately, my very, very smart Jewish children, Jacob was not able to undergo hypnotic regression, as we can today, to realize that the events of his dream did indeed actually happen.'
'What Jacob really encountered was an alien spaceship which had hovered near to where he lay, perhaps to carry out repairs, or to take on board samples just as many people witness, all around the globe, today.
'Either way, he actually watched the occupants of that craft going up and down from the craft, probably by means of a ladder, a ladder that many, many people have also seen since.'
"Go on, daddy."

" Children, very sleepy children, such an odd sighting of a ladder would make anybody of that time think that they had really seen the kingdom of heaven, as it must have been a sight so mentally and spiritually challenging, that anyone then would have had no other way of looking at the facts being placed before them."
"When Jacob apparently awoke from his sleep, he just instinctively knew that something odd and unnatural had happened to him, and he very naturally was very afraid.
These UFO facts are actually written, here, in this our Jewish Bible, in this chapter, honeys"
'Even then, thousands of years ago, Jacob knew that something not quite right had taken place.'
'This is a scenario, a picture that we as modern day knowledgeable people come across time and time again in the Bible, when we read about people who research UFOs and alien contact cases."
'Like Jacob, the people in tens of thousands of modern cases of alien contact often awake and instinctively know that something unusual has taken place during the course of the night.'
"Nowadays, we have the ability, the science, the knowledge and the intelligent necessary procedures in place to follow up these hunches, but poor ancient Jacob was left all alone with only his own frightened intuition."
"He was not as lucky as we are to be living in the future, our today, where our own Bible stories can be seen through different and much smarter eyes."

September 16, 1994 Location
Ruwa, Zimbabwe:
" On 14th September, 1994, a UFO streaked across the sky over Southern Africa.
Two days later, another something landed in a schoolyard in Ruwa, Zimbabwe, with at first three or four thinly built 'things' beside it, according to journalist Cynthia Hind.
"This was witnessed by 62 schoolchildren, who had little or no exposure to TV or popular press accounts of UFOs."
"Cynthia Hind interviewed them the day after the encounter and made them draw pictures of what they had seen.
They all drew round craft with ladders coming down from it."
"The Ariel School sighting is one of the most significant in recent UFO history.'
"The event lasted about fifteen minutes, the children said, before the spaceships faded from view."
"But even in their state of fear, many of the children reported also being curious and fascinated by the strange beings they saw, coming down a ladder, whose eyes in particular commanded an intense attention."

"On the morning of September 16, 1994, teachers and school officials at the Ariel School in Ruwa, Zimbabwe were amazed when the school's students, aged approximately 5 to 12 years old, reported that a flying object had landed on the school grounds.
On Friday 16th September, at approximately 10:15, 62 children from Ariel School, a private primary school in Ruwa (about 20 km from Harare) were in their playing field for the mid-morning break."
"Suddenly, they saw three silver balls in the sky over the school.
These disappeared with a flash of light and then reappeared elsewhere.'
This happened three times and then they started to move down towards the school with one of them landing (or hovering) over a section of rough ground made up of trees, thorn bushes, and some brown-gray cut grass with bamboo shoots sticking up out of the ground."
"The children are not allowed in this area although it is adjacent to their playing field and is not fenced off, because of snakes, spiders and other harmful creatures."
"One can soon disappear from view while walking here, and there is only one very rough track used by tractors in an attempt to clear this area."
"There is a line of electricity pylons and according to one boy, the object followed along this line prior to landing."
There is also some controversy as to whether the object landed on the ground or hovered above it."
"One eyewitness, Barry D., said he had seen three objects flying over, with flashing red lights.
They disappeared, and reappeared almost immediately, but somewhere else.
This happened about three times.
"Then they came and landed near some gum trees; Barry said the main one (object) was about the size of his thumb nail held at arm's length."
"The reports were similar although some children were more observant than others."
"The consensus of opinion was that an object came down in the area where they indicated, about 100 meters from where they were at the edge of the school playing field".
"Then a small man (approximately 1 meter in height) appeared on top of the object and descended a ladder."
He walked a little way across the rough ground, became aware of the children and disappeared.
He, or someone very like him, then reappeared at the back of the object. "
The little man was dressed in a tight-fitting black suit which was 'shiny' according to one observant girl (11 years of age).
He had a long scrawny neck and huge eyes like rugby balls.
He had a pale face with long black hair coming below his shoulders."
" Most of the descriptions are similar but the craft drawn by the children afterwards are very obviously 'flying saucers', and I wondered as many of these children have had no access to any of the media. "
'Other' drawings are crude but more or less in this saucer shape.'
Their teachers were in a meeting and did not come out."
"When I queried the headmaster about this he said the children always shouted and yelled during their playtime and no-one thought there was anything unusual going on. "
"From their vantage point they were able to make out that the light came from a large oval shaped object that was domed at the top and slightly rounded on the bottom. "
"It was supported by legs and from a central doorway, or hatch, more little people came out, and about a dozen figures could be seen going up and down a ladder ramp and were all dressed in what appeared to be silver colored suits or uniforms"
. "All moved up and down a ladder-like stairway. "
"These others were also slightly built and were wearing helmets or ski caps, and all were busy running around repairing the craft. "
'A strange pink cloud was reported.'
Five children then saw another snow white flying saucer."
"A shiny ladder was lowered from a hatchway and a man came down and sat on a rung of the ladder.
He shone a beam of light into the school.
The ladder and man were retracted and the object sped off. "

Angels were not really ascending and descending from the sky.'
Ladder = staircase.
Indeed, this is the very first story in the Bible in which anything is coming and going from the sky.
But it is not the last.'
Don't you remember the story of our Moses and our Hebrews who were taken out of Egypt?

In Exodus :
The escort that accompanies the travelers is called a "pillar of a cloud" by day and a "a pillar of fire" by night.
The word pillar is translated from `ammuwd, pronounced, am-mood; a column as standing; also a stand, i.e. platform.
This means that this could either be a column or a platform that had the appearance of a cloud in the daylight and when the sun went down, it lit up.
Many UFOs seen and photographed are cylindrical, not just only saucer shaped.
And, it is staying close to our Jewish people, in other words, hovering.
When considered in light of the many other descriptions, replacing the word platform where pillar appears seems a more logical choice.
The platform comes directly between the Hebrews and the pursuing Egyptian army. (Exodus 14:19)
The platform harassed the Egyptian army. (Exodus 14:24)
The "glory of the Lord appeared in the cloud" that leads the Hebrews. (Exodus 16:10)
The lord ascended on Mount Sinai with great lights beaming into the night sky, shaking the mountain greatly and broadcasting very loud sounds with increasing volume. (Exodus 19:18 -20, 20:18)
People were fearful of the vehicle. (Exodus 20:18)
The platform/cloud descends and hovers. (Exodus 33:9, 34:5, Numbers 12:5)
The platform/cloud ascends. (Exodus 40:36)
God broadcasts his voice from the platform/cloud. (Exodus 33:9, 34:5, Psalms 99:7)
The people follow the platform wherever it led them and was always with them. (Exodus 40:36-38, Numbers 9:17-18, 10:34, Nehemiah 9:19)
The cloud provides shade and light. (Numbers 9:16)
The platform/cloud hovers above the group for days, months and even up to a year. (Numbers 9: 22)
The cloud takes off and lands. (Numbers 10:11-12)
The vehicle protects the people. (Numbers 14:14)
The platform/cloud scouts ahead for places that the Hebrews will rest. (Deuteronomy 1:33)
Thus, you see, my sweet smart little sleepy Jewish babies, that our whole Bible from Abraham's experiences, to Isaiah's, from Ezekiel's, to Moses' and Jacob's were just those same helpful wonderful little grey alien men that the school children saw who were, in our Bible, IN ANCIENT TIMES seen as angels and sometimes even as God himself.
And this whole 'Holy' book is really all about friendly and helpful aliens who God has created just like he created you and me and there's never ever been a reason to fear them as they mean us Jewish people well.
'They are recognized today for the beings who back then in Jacob's time were mistaken as angels and sometimes as God himself.'
'So, my tired darlings they've always been our helpers and love us as we, too, are Jews; sleep well and get up well;
For we are 'THE CHOSEN PEOPLE!'

See... that's what I meant by persecuted because they were chosen.
